Cookie & Local Storage Policy
This Policy explains how CarrierElite, LLC (“CarrierElite”) uses cookies and similar browser storage on carrierelite.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Our approach
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics. We use only the storage that is strictly necessary for the Website to function or that remembers a choice you made. Because of this, we do not display a cookie-consent banner.
2. What we use
- Staff sign-in cookies (strictly necessary) — set only when CarrierElite staff sign in to the operations dashboard, to keep the session secure. Visitors requesting a tow do not receive them.
- Preference storage (functional) — small values saved in your browser’s local storage, such as whether dashboard sound alerts are on. They never leave your device.
- Security and delivery — our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
3. Third-party features
Pages with address search or maps load Google Maps, which may set or read its own cookies or collect device information under Google’s privacy policy. If you use the microphone in our AI assistant, your browser’s speech service (for example, Google or Apple) processes your audio under its own terms.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent staff sign-in but will not prevent you from requesting a tow. You can also deny location and microphone permissions at any time; the related features will simply be unavailable.
